The Cat in the Party Hat
For one of our newsletters, I had created a party hat tutorial to teach kids how to make their own. The party hat looked great, however, I still needed a model, and what a less-than-willing participant my lovely cat was. Oh boy, he did not like the hat. He actually broke the string, but I managed to get a couple of good pictures of him. In his displeasure, he gave me the artistic inspiration to create this acrylic painting. It was my final painting of 2020, and probably my favorite.
